Can my computer render 3ds Max in good quality and fast?

Processor I5-2500 @ 3.3 ghz

RAM- 8gb

GPU- Nvidia GT440 1G vRAM

IS- Win 7 64bit



3DS Max version: 3ds Max Design 2012



Light is it good if I use vRAY?? etc or can 3ds max run smoothly on my PC|||You have a good computer its a dual core

a good amount of ram and your graphics card is acceptable. your computer should do fine, though i have a question do you have an advanced cooling system in your computer?

Rendering is a resource intensive task and generates a lot of heat. i recommend you check out liquid cooling options for your system.

to increase performance drastically, you can switch to a solid state drive, it dramatically increases boot times and program launch times.

the default 3ds max mental ray renderer is just as good as the vray renderer. i see no point in purchasing VRAy.
