Both are garbage cards that aren't meant for gaming. And you're wanting to run something demanding like GTA IV? Running high-end games on low-end cards doesn't work out. Consider going with the HD 6870, or GTX 560.|||Trick question. None of the above. For the same price as a GT440, you can get a Radeon 6570 that'll stomp both.
Of course, none of them are very good gaming cards. You'll need to spend a minimum of $100 or so bucks to get something that's good for games, ie, Radeon 5770/6770 or GTX 550 Ti or better.
You're not getting it. The GT440 and 430 are both overpriced for what you get. If you're on a very tight budget, the Radeon 6570 is a superior card. End of story. If you have more flexibility in your budget, then you DEFINITELY should drop more money into a better video card.
